When lhe young architect Guilherme Torres was invited lo participate in Mostra Black. one of the most important event of interior design in Brazil some statements have become very clear
The space built specially for lhe event. in lhe patio of a modernist house in Alto de Pinheiros area in São Paulo. refers to the Barcelona pavilion by Mies van der Rohe, one of the architect favorite works.
During construction. the profile of an " imaginary resident” was created the character Mister Black would be an alter ego of the professional a young art collector, passionate by music and a citizen of the world that loves to receive his friends.
The starting point of the decoration was the wide Otto sota, in leather, designed bythe architect, as well as the Pil sota with 50’s lines and me coffee table covered with vintage wallpaper
